Still 100% "Christmas Shoes" Free
The other night, we discovered that
monshu's cable brings him two channels of constant Christmas carols. There's "Sounds of the Seasons", which is always there (FYI, apparently most seasons apart from Christmas are inobtrusively New-Agey) and one I've never seen in years past called "Traditional Christmas".
I'm having some difficulty telling what the difference is between the two. At first I thought it was just the relative ages of the people singing "I'll Be Home for Christmas", with the cardiganned-and-dead set predominating on the latter. The more I listened to Traditional Christmas, however, the more I became convinced that is was all Christmas songs written and/or sung by Jews. But then last night as I was leaving they were playing some boy band's rendition of "O Holy Night", which immediately shot to hell both hypotheses at once.
