Most Useless Subtitle of All Time

When I took my driving test in Ireland, one of the questions showed a triangular sign saying "Gael Sli," with the question, "What does this sign indicate?"

a. Go slower
b. Turn left, or
c. Gael Sli?

Looking for signs of a trick question, I put down "Gael Sli." I was right.

We were watching the English-dubbed version of "Howl's Moving Castle" with Simon (don't judge us -- subtitles are hard on a 5-year old). Every time a building with a sign on it, such as "Bakery" (always in English), showed up, so did a subtitle, in English, also reading "Bakery."

I think they may have done that in the regular subtitled version, too, but I'm not sure.
