monshu woke my up at quarter to six looking for his CTA pass, which I'd stupidly left in my wallet instead of returning it to his. When I fell back to sleep, I dreamt that I was hunting desperately through the refrigerator for a bottle of Wacholderschnaps I'd left there to chill. James' "Don't Wait So Long" was playing in the background and it was making me cry. I woke up with the cat pinning my left arm and when I gently tried edging him off, he attacked my free hand.

It's been that kind of a week.
