muckefuckLike many of you, I've been struggling with how to best make use of this account in the face of shrinking involvement in LiveJournal. My Facebook footprint is still small, but I increasingly see users I first met here jumping over there with both feet, their LiveJournal entries a mere afterthought of recycled content (when they even continue to make them at all). I've noted with chagrin the toll it's taken in comments: Where once I could count on garnering dozens of responses to a single entry, now I'm lucky to see that many in a month.
This is why, after careful consideration, I've decided to outsource. The first exciting new contributions should be appearing before the end of the day. I'm assured by the company responsible, AdFucked, that these will not be the simple tiny ones you're used to finding tastefully placed between entry and comments but glorious HD mini-movies that will dominate your screen. Not only that, but they've developed a brilliant new Java application which allows them to override the volume controls on your machine so you can't possibly miss a moment of dialogue or pounding music--not even if you've absent-mindedly left the setting on mute!
I think I know my Friends fairly well, and I've noted that many of you are resistant to change even when it is obviously for the better. Some of you will doubtless be tempted to deFriend me over the prospect of what promises to be a radical change in content. I beg you not to be too quick to judge.
