How sleepy was I when I left
welcomerain's last night? I remember thinking, I bet I could fall asleep sitting up in a seat on the bus.
And I was right.
I'm not normally one who ever falls asleep in a moving vehicle. But some point after we passed Devon, I shut my eyes. I peeked again shortly before Foster and thought, I wonder, if I keep my eyes closed, how long it will take before I lose track of where I am. I still don't know, since when I opened them again, I was in Wrigleyville. I nodded off at least one more time after that.
I don't know why. I had gotten plenty of sleep the night before, it hadn't been than strenuous a day, I was alert and energetic during dinner. But shortly after ascending to
