Three questions for spring

1. Don't the redbuds seem awfully late this year? Most of them are just starting to come into bloom; I don't remember seeing any budding before last Friday. By this point, if something's not sprouting or blossoming, I assume it didn't make it through last winter. Not only are the lilies-of-the-valley and peonies up, but the periwinkle is already flowering!
2. Which is stupider: Sunshine delays or gaper blocks?
3. What are you doing for Mayday?

Which is stupider: Sunshine delays or gaper blocks?

My instinct is gaper blocks, which always bring to mind Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel from the Simpsons. ("Looka there, Mabel! A Poh-lice car got its flashy lights on!") But I don't know what a sunshine delay is.

Sunshine Delay: Slower traffic caused by bright sunlight. As rush hour morning traffic typically means travelling east towards the rising sun and evening traffic means travelling west towards the setting sun, delays can occur because of blinded drivers. So, basically, traffic is delayed because the FREAKIN' SUN IS SHINING! Where are we that drivers are thrown for a loop by sunlight--SEATTLE?

take a sweet dough and let it raise. Make cakes the size of a fist and stuff with marchpane and let rest.
Bake in a hot oven until done.

I use a very rich coffee cake dough, Marchpane is Martzipan, and I bake at 350 about 3o min.
