Don't ask me why I was in a mood to hear this little ditty again. Someone posted it linguaphiles some weeks back, but I couldn't remember the artist and searching by tags proved completely useless (nothing for "swedish", "song", "lyrics", "translation", etc.). Finally, I went directly to YouTube and typed "Swedish rap"; it was the #1 hit.

I like to think of it as an answer to the question, "What if Peter Fox were Scandinavian?" Not a question I remember ever asking, of course, but I'm bemused that at least part of the answer is, "He'd have a banjo."

Peter Fox ist aber musikalisch sehr viel facettenreicher. Mir gefällt das hier gar nicht, das ist so humtata-mäßig. Aber jedem das seine und den Skandinaviern das ihre.

I agree, the song sounds a bit bland compared to Mr. Fox.
