Completely unrelated, in Flemish the word mot is also used in such colorful expressions as:
'K heb et in de mot.
I see what is happening.
and
Moete een mot op u bakkes hebben?
Do you want me to punch you in the face?
(That last one is highly recommended in an appropriately rough bar in the Antwerp harbor. Lots of entertainment value.)
