Aw, isn't it sweet? You know, that's what I thought too, the first one or two hundred times. Now it's getting a bit old. I should've known when we started--I'm the one who invented the game after all--that if he enjoyed it once, he'd want to do it again and again. I keeping telling myself that the exercise is as good for me as it is for him, but he's the spry young one, so why am I doing all the tossing while all he does is sit there and take the occasional swipe? Today I woke up with a very sore throwing arm. As my throwing arm is also my...er...self-service arm, there may be some hard choices ahead. Amusing a cat or killing kittens? It's a real dilemma.

It's very funny, but here I'm looking at your cat and his ball, but on monshu's journal, I'm looking at your home, trying to will the camera to turn around so I can get a better view. :-)

You're not throwing for accuracy. Can't you use your off arm for at least some of it? That way both arms get a workout, and you can still use your primary arm for activities that require more, um, coordination.

To some degree I am, because if I throw too wild, the ball lands on the sitting room carpet and I have to go up and down a flight to retrieve it. But that's probably my best bet.

I'm still in the market for a good wind-up mouse. Or perhaps a robot cat!

Ja, ja, das Kätzchen ist süß ... aber ich bin noch mehr beeindruckt von eurer Wohnung auf 2 Ebenen, das ist echt schön ... und so viele Fenster. Gratuliere! Von den Fotos wirkt es, als würdet ihr schon ewig dort wohnen.

Die homepage vom Cameron gefällt mir sehr. Der "alte Mann", wie du ihn liebevoll nennst, hat echt was drauf. Schade, dass ich ihn 2003 in Chicago nicht kennengelernt habe.

Ach Gott, deutsche Nachbarn? Und sie haben sich in Chicago niedergelassen? Sind sie ansonsten wenigstens nett?

Nach Jahren der Ruhe ist über mir vor ca. einem halben Jahr auch ein Typ eingezogen, der mich immer mal wieder in den Wahnsinn treibt. Mitunter hört es sich an, als würde er alle Möbel verrücken, manchmal scheint es, als würde er unentwegt einen Ball auf den Holzboden trippeln. Nach Monaten der Geduld bin ich ihm neulich abends aufs Dach gestiegen und habe ihm mein Unbehagen mitgeteilt. Er hat sich ein WENIG gebessert.
