"Stumpa coinnle" is fine, but in most contexts "stumpa na coinnle" is what you'd expect with the article. Féach freisin "nuta de choinneal ~ an nuta den choinneal" -- cé nár chuala mé riamh é sin -- agus "smut coinnle". Thaitin an focal "smut" liom riamh. :-)
