Can you believe that gorkabear just posted this in an entry on "horrible xmas music"?

I loved this song when I was a child. (This version debuted when I was eight years old, but I was already familiar with the classic Harry Belafonte recording.) Listening to it just now literally brought tears to my eyes. ¡Gracias por las memórias, angelico mío!

I'd like you to suffer from their Carols CD every damned time you pass by the street close to yours. Geez, today I head twice the Feliz Navidad tune... I've counted 15 times since they started playing the damned carols on the street!

Ich kann gorkabear sehr gut verstehen. Wenn du 8 warst, war ich 20 ... und ich fand es damals schrecklich und finde es heute immer noch gruselig. Für die Version von H.B. kann ich mich auch nicht wirklich erwärmen.

Du verwunderst mich immer wieder :)
