JAPANESE: 頭髪のない部分, touhatsu no nai bubun, "part with no hair"; more colloquially, 10円玉禿, juuendamahage, "the ten yen coin baldness", referring to the "circle" of lacking hair. The number can go as high as one needs to describe the growing spot (a 500-yen spot being fairly large).
