Yes, we survived the move. It may have been one of the hottest, most humid days of the whole summer, but at least it stopped raining long enough for Big Oscar and his team to bring all of monshu's worldly goods into the new dwelling. These didn't include a desk, however, so setting up the computer had to wait until Room and Board delivered the shiny new one today. Our goal for tomorrow is to cook our first meal on the gas range.

It'll take some time before I feel at home here, but the biggest hurdles are out of the way. There's a lot more to say about that, but I'd be better served getting some sleep now so I can get a lot done tomorrow. Moreover, we foolishly put the PC in one of the warmest rooms in the house.
