eh, I am in awe of your language skills and I am by no means fluent in Welsh, but I think (excuse me if I'm wrong) that:

1) the verb is gwlychu and not gwylchu
2) "wedi gwlychu" would mean "soaked" as in "I soaked him with the water pistol", not as in "It was raising so hard I was completely soaked by the time I got home". You would want something like "cael ei gwlychu"... although we need the noun there and I don't know what it is.

Ych, how right you are! Gwlychu is a noun (a verb-noun), so I don't see what's wrong with wedi cael ei wlychu. The verbal adjective gwlychedig apparently exists, but all the Ghits I found for it were in older dictionaries so I suspect it's not in active use for this expression.

More suitable for the drenching word you seek is socian, used as e.g. dwi yn socian "I'm soaked". It's a verbal noun but can be used adjectivally like this. It's attested as early as 1547 according the GPC. You can also use it as a verb, of course--wnes i gael fy socian "I was soaked".

Also, there's an idiom socian i 'nghroen "soaked to my skin" which is perhaps a calque from the English.

NB there's nothing wrong with wedi cael ei wlychu, strictly speaking, BTW. Socian would get you more native speaker brownie points though :)

The editing you made to the original post after marmanel threw me! As it happens, I suspect dwi wedi gwlychu could indeed pass to mean "(It is raining so) I am soaked". But these phrases are all grammatically correct, it's just a matter of turns of phrase really.
