Yay, dumplings! My Chinese coworker brought me a Ziploc bag of homemade jiaozi that somebody (v. vague on this pt.) had given her. Fortunately, I always have a pair of chopsticks handy (that's me--where Boy Scout and foodie collide!) so I was able to scarf them down in the staff lounge. SO YUMMY!
So, given that the sleet has now become a full-fledged blizzard, how crazy on a scale from "1" to "batshit" would it be to go ahead with my plans to jaunt down to the Container Store tonight and buy a couple pieces? On the plus side, I'm guessing there won't be a lot of other customers. On the down side, getting a cab back could be problematic. Thoughts?

I'm trying to decide whether it will be worth it to drive to Pekin tomorrow morning for an 11 a.m. hearing. I'm getting conflicting reports everywhere about the severity of the snow.
