monshu awake, as per usual) was flossing my teeth. I told my honey this augured well, but he seemed unconvinced. (Of course, the first thing he did was smoke a cigarette, so he would take that attitude.)
I know a lot of you could use a much easier time in 2008 than you had this past year and I hope you get it. For those who had an excellent 2007, I hope the coming year at least matches it. For myself, my hopes are modest: I just want to be together with my beloved to celebrate another New Year. If it happens to be in an apartment we co-own, so much the better.
