EARLIER TONIGHT

"Let's watch a movie! Which one do you want to see?"
"Seven Swords! It's less than two hours."

[114 minutes pass and the final climactic battle is still obviously a long way off]

"How long did you say this movie was?"
"Why don't you check?"
[checks]
"What does it say?"
"It says 'My boyfriend is a dumbass'."
"What does it really say?"
"'154 minutes.'"
"That's about two hours."
"How many minutes are in an hour?"
"Sixty."
"Two times sixty is...?"
"120."
"154 take away 120 is...?"
"34...two-and-a-half hours. Okay, so I am a dumbass."

I asked him if he read it as "1 hour 54 minutes" and he confessed that he did. Why Netflix doesn't use this format I don't know.
