Neighbourhood news
- There was a manifesto chalked onto the sidewalk in front of Tweet this morning. I only glanced at it, but the title was "THE FEAR OF THE INEXPLICATE" and it ended with the admonition "HATE NOTHING!" Made me wonder if this was a response to a particular incident.
- Also, in case I ever wondered what the down-and-out Grizzly Adams who likes to lounge on the sidewalk on the south side of Argyle would look like wearing nothing but a pair of skin-tight red skivvies, now I know. My sympathy to those morning commuters who did not particularly want that image.
- This is the first day all week in which I've arrived at work without thinking that my stroll had completely undone the effects of my morning shower. Who knows, I may even push my luck with a trip into downtown for lunch.
- Lastly, if you're going to Jackhammer tonight for the Flesh Hungry Dog Rock Show, you'll see me. As a special bonus for those of you who have been wondering if I really have a boyfriend or if all this blather about
monshu is really just some elabourate ruse, he'll be there, too. God know how long he'll last, so come early.
