• Me (to maître d'): "I'm meeting some friends. One of them is a big bald guy with a goatee...but not that one there!"
• spookyfruit: "I saw one today who was a scroll-up." (welcomerain explained that "scroll-down" on Fugly.com refers to pictures of outfits that are attractive enough on top but one must scroll down to see the fugliness.)
• Hand-lettered sign on back wall: "IF THE FIRE EXITS ARE BLOCKED, IT WILL MEAN THE END OF THE WORLD." (Illustrated with a drawing of the globe with a mushroom cloud rising from it.)

(The dinner itself was basically what I expected at Navy Pier: A lot of money for mediocre food. At least the slaw was decent.)

Is there any restaurant at Navy Pier that's not to be avoided? (This isn't a rhetorical question; I'd really like to know for the next time I'm meeting people there.)

I don't know, I've only gone to Navy Pier twice in the last 3 or 4 years and only eaten there once (and yeah, avoid the jazz bar/restaurant.)
