Of course, I'm as pleased as a Schoendienst that the Cardinals are now one game away from winning their first World Series since I was in grade school. But that one game could be tomorrow night, right in the middle of a Halloween party I've been looking forward to for weeks! Oh, the dilemma! This leaves me in the perverse position of hoping for a rain-out, which would allow me to watch Game 5 in the comfort of bunj & e.'s.

I was thinking of finding a sports bar near the party for the last few innings.

Then I remembered what our costumes are, and felt a sports bar may not be the best place to be dressed that way.

Now, I'm just going to TiVo the game. Yes, I'll know the score before I watch it; it will be like my own highlight reel.
