muckefuckToday I got an e-mail announcing a "keyword regen". I racked my brains trying to figure out what shutting down our client had to do with rain until I realised they needed to regenerate the keyword index.
Later, I was working on a Japanese book titled Betonamu no gendaishi. Until I looked at the subject headings, it didn't occur to me that I held in my hand a modern history of Vietnam. I thought it had something to do with cement.

I wouldn't've ever made the same connection that you did with Betonamu -- like I ever had a reason to use the German word for "cement" ^^;;;;
