We ended up with about an inch of accumulation all told--just enough to cover up the yellow grass and dead leaves completely transforming the landscape. Of course, the response from those responsible for keeping the sidewalks clear has been (a) do nothing or (b) use about a metric tonne of salt per square foot to burn off snow so fluffy you could remove it with a broom, let alone a shovel.
