innerdoggie, who was wondering about what it's like to be queer in the Caribbean. Stop wondering and attend the conference! (And let me know what you think of it if you do.) How did I find out about this? Field trip to HP! Details to follow...eventually.
In other important news, I learned a fabou new German word: Sahnehäubchen! Literally, "cream bonnet"; it's the head of whipped cream on top of hot chocolate. There will be more to come, since I picked up a swell new book on the current (well, as of c.1996) state of the German language. Details to follow...eventually.
