A year of college instruction not wasted!
The other night, BBC World News ran a story on the most recent riots in South Korea. Farmers protesting plans to lower tariffs on foreign rice imports clashes with police in Seoul. In-between scenes of the clashes, the camera lingered on a bag of grain while the voiceover discussed the likely impact of the increased imports on rice prices. Stuck into a the bag is cardboard sign with POLI written in Hankul several inches high.
