Dia de Muertos Wandered around Pilsen in the rain. Discovered that the Museo de bellas artes mexicanas is closed Mondays--muertos or no muertos--except for tours. Stood outside looking pitiful until someone took pity and let us into the gift shop. Hung around the gift shop until a tour came by and slipped into the gallery to see the ofrendas and Giant Olmec Head. Brought pan de muertos back from Bombon to share with my Chinese class. Went to bed early.
Last weekend Spent Saturday chaperoning my older brother to my stepsister's wedding. Yanked off the dance floor just as "Gonna Make You Sweat!" came on because he needed to go home. Brunched with the family at Wishbone the next day. Accompaniedmonshu to the SOFA show on Navy Pier, picked up male beauty products at Fields, and then came home and redefined the meaning of "spa day". Watched too much stupid television.
