UFR: My bike
Walking down my street through the cold drizzle this morning, I became aware of a crinkling sound behind me. It sounded like the noise that nylon pants might make, so I assumed that someone was lagging a few paces behind me and ignored it. Then I heard someone ask me a question. I turned around to see a nine year-old kid in windbreaker and sweatpants and said, "What?"
"Where yo bike at?" he asked again through a wide toothy grin.
"I don't have a bike," I told him. He looked back at me a little confused and I hurried on to catch the train. Mistaken identity?
