Inevitably, talk about the caber toss degenerated into talk about the caper toss, a central event at the Surrender Monkey Games. We concluded that it must consist of tossing the caper just so onto a saucy chicken breast some feet away.

I thought capers would be tossed onto goats, but maybe that's just a caprice of my memory.
