1,000th post: The Best of TDOI
![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Just over two years on LJ and I've racked up 1,000 entries. That averages out to about 1.3 per day, so it's not surprising that, if
monshu doesn't see a new one appear when I'm at work, he's likely to call home to see if I'm there sick.
Many writers, having reached this point, would take a breather to allow for some introspection. In order not to disappoint their readers, however, they would run a "best off" column. This strikes me as pure laziness. However, purest laziness would have me blowing off the introspection and sitting back while I let you tell me what my best bits have been. And purest laziness is more my style.
So have at it! Raid your Memories, search your memory banks--hell, download the whole bloody journal and search it. Surely you can come up with one or two entries that were more worthwhile to read than the thirty seconds of work you could've gotten done in that time. And to make it a little easier, anyone who doesn't respond with their favourite bits by this time tomorrow, I will deFriend in a single flush of bitter recrimination.
(Just kidding about that last bit--or am I? No sense taking chances...)

That's what I was going to say! I like it whenever you go off on a grammar nitpick and then for weeks afterwards people are trying to find errors in your postings. I like library gossip also. And pictures of trees.
