It was about three times as annoying as it needed to be (thanks to you, M$, and your 'tard installers), but I now have full CJK support for my computer at work, including IMEs for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese (traditional and simplified). Better yet, I'll be able to play around with them next week and get paid for it! A Chinese co-worker needs to learn how to use an IME and I'm the only person available who could possibly teach her, but I don't know which of the six most common methods she'll opt for except that it won't be the only one I've mastered.

In case you're wondering how it is that I've already subjected y'all to so much East Asian scriptural goodness, the answer is: cut 'n' paste. It's all been meticulously assembled from online dictionary entries and fragments in regular webpages (except for the bits I typed up using the Chinese IME on monshu's computer, like my Letter to a Monk). But now my carte is blancher than ever!
