Dead Libs: Tell me what I did today!

This morning, I slept in--I didn't get up until almost [1: a time]! All those [2: a drink] with monshu last night must've made me really sleepy. But it didn't matter, since no one was expecting me at the usual time at work, since I had an appointment to see my [3: a physician]. I was relieved to find out that, at my age, I'm no longer at risk for [4: a disease]. She gave me a prescription for [5: a chronic malady] and sent me on my way.

I decided to stop at [6: eatery] before riding into work. They were playing the first album I ever bought with my own money! Man, I can't remember the last time I heard [7: song title]. My waitress had no love for it, though, since she I heard her telling her co-worker to turn it off. They starting playing the recent album by flavour-of-the-month [8: a band] instead.

Unfortunately, the [9: a food] in my appetiser wasn't very fresh, but my French toast was amazing! It was "infused" with [10: a beverage] and served in a sauce made from a reduction of it. I left pretty pleased, but unfortunately I had to squeeze onto a train jammed with [11: type of losers] and wasn't able to read my copy of [12: a publication].
