The confessional approach
This is likely the first of many entries today. Why? Because I'm STOO-pid. I didn't get enough sleep and reviewing my students' work is not going to be enough by itself to get me through this day. And, sweet Jeezus! I've got a departmental meeting up next.
monshu and I dined at Tweet last night. (Review forthcoming.) Afterwards, we came back to my place for the most fantastic, earth-shatteringly satisfying ...cake! GOTCHA! e. made this tuxedo cake with just enough in it that's not high-qualilty chocolate so you can get a knife through. I've been portioning it out as gradually as possible, but last night was its last. Even over a week old, it's still scrumpdillyumptious. COME BACK, TUXEDO CAKE, COME BACK!.
Had I ended my evening there, everything would be jackanory. But, no, I had to try for the third time to locate my Thai dictionary. I joked to myself at the start that it would be in the last box to be opened, but sure enough, this turned out to be true. I searched all other boxes twice or thrice before I realised there was one with tape still on it.
I spent the next three hours looking up Thai words. But that's another post.
I dreamt that my upstairs neighbour was playing his radio too loud. I woke up to find that my radio alarm had already gone off. (I usually wake up before it.) Then I laid there and watched the sun rise. But that's another post.
See, three prospective posts and it's not even mid-morning yet!

You're such a tease.
Re: You're such a tease.
No! Obviously I do it to toot my own skin flute and tease and disappointe and spawn dramas that fill up my journal and cause me stress at work. Oh, and for the babes.
