Oh, fuck, not again!

muckefuckOnce again, I've ascribed various symptoms of unwellness--aches, weakness, stuffiness--to exhaustion and/or allergies only to come to the eventual conclusion that, no, I've actually got some horrid virus. Damn, I really hope this is not a recurrence of the persistent intense pharyngitis that I came down with at the end of May and knocked me out for a full week. Especially this week of all weeks, when I have to be making my new hires. If I choose those wisely, they could stay for four years. Otherwise, I have to go through the whole annoying nerve-wracking process again.
I don't mean to bitch. I just want to give y'all a heads-up so if I don't post again until next week, you'll know what to ascribe it to. At least I still have the codeine from the last bout. Tonight, I'll lay in yoghurt, broth, and juice, just in case. If I do end up staying home, the hard part is going to be resting, resisting the urge to put my wreck of a living room together.
