Dyspepsia is making me antisocial. It scotched a get-together with the Rabbi last night (although I did still find it in me to stop over at the neighbour's and admire their new deck built with cheap Irish labour) and it helped dissuade me from doing much today. Right now, for instance, there's a staff olympics going on outside but the thought of even modest physical effort makes my lip curl in disgust. God it sucks getting old.
Mealtimes are becoming more and more of a chore. Yesterday I skipped lunch rather than deal with trying to find something which I felt like eating (yay for Kind bars!) and today I was tempted to do the same. Poor
monshu was almost overwhelmed with resignation on Monday trying to figure out what he was going to fix for dinner this week. His lunches these days are basically yoghurt and banana every day of the week.
