Low point of the day: Stuffing my briefs with t.p. in the grotty john of a diner, so that, should I have another attack of shits while riding on the el, the damage could at least be contained. That has got to be one of my least comfortable rides on the Express ever. I'm swearing off the Thai food at the b-school cafe. Other Thai restaurants may have given my heartburn, but they never gave me the hershey squirts.
High point of the day: Getting a 15% percent "designer's discount" on the four pieces I bought at Material Culture. That works out to $120~150 per caress (stroking my ponytail, rubbing my thumbnail). Now the question monshu wants answered: Can bunj--or any of the rest of you--do half as well? (He was supposed to take pics so I could preview the pieces for y'all, but not you'll just have to come to my housewarming.)

Nope. Even with the (very generous) 50% discount, that's outside my price range.
