muckefuckIt was a glorious day in Logan Square. Looking at a map simply does not prepare you for the situation on the ground there--as Nuphy can attest. But now we've all oriented ourselves and we're already planning future trips. For him, it's a short trip on the Blue Line, but even for the Old Man and me it was only an hour down and about and hour ten coming back (chiefly because we decided to take the Clark 22 instead of the El). More details tomorrow, if I'm not too damn hungover.
When we got back, there were messages on the answering machine from Mom, Sis, and the florist Sis hired to deliver a bouquet. Oops. I understand wanting to surprise someone, but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
monshu can keep a secret--and he could've let her know we'd be gone all day today and most of tomorrow as well. Hopefully we can reschedule tomorrow, but, if not, it's the thought, right?
