It is raining buckets outside. A little while ago, I saw the cat slip out of the library, where he'd dashed for shelter at the first thunderclap, and slink downstairs belly-to-the-ground. I went out to the back porch to make sure all the potted plants were all right and heard another massive thunderclap followed by a holler from someone nearby (likely Cub Nephew on the third floor). I was happy with the quarter inch we got during the day; I'm overjoyed now.
