Another member of the darkphuquegeneration speaks up! Seriously, it's never occurred to me that there's an incongruity. After all, the same man (65 years old this April!) taught me to love both. Although opera and baseball both have different rhythms, they also have a lot in common. Is fantasising about your dream team for the Series really any different from imagining your dream cast for the Ring?
