Geez, you'd think it would take, at most, two cops in a patrol car to deal with that.
They used to send an entire manned fire engine every time someone got stuck in the elevator of our old building, too. I'm amazed they never presented the owner with a bill; that's a lot of public money spent because a slumlord won't maintain his elevator.
