Very gracious concession speech from McCain. Too bad his more vocal supporters couldn't show the same degree of class. I wished I could've had the audio from Grant Park on another channel just to compare the reactions.
Right now, while killing time waiting for the President-Elect to take the stage, NBC is interviewing Gov. Rod Blagojevich. What the hell? Seriously, I can't think of any politician this side of Dubya I'd less care to hear speak to Obama's victory. (For those of you from out of state, he's so unpopular here that he inspired a recall amendment included on today's ballot.) They even had the bad taste to mention his presidential ambitions. AS IF.
Of course,

...maybe Clinton fell in that category too, at some stage. Not, however, when he was first elected.
And, regarding what the job experience is likely to be like, I can't improve on what Jornal do Brasil had to say when Lula was elected: agora ele tem de segura esse abacaxi.
