I had a fight-zombies dream last night. As far as I could tell, some alien artifact fell into a public pool and turned everyone in it into horribly distended animated corpses. I ended up on the wrong side of the fence fighting them off with a rake until, in classic Night of the Living Dead fashion, cops took me out with a head shot when I tried to make a break for it.

Awakening from something like that makes you regard your surroundings in a new light. When I opened my eyes, I briefly considered how secure our ground-level place would be in the event of a zombie attack.

Oh my god, we are so totally fucked.

Something similar happened to me once. I was making fun of women with died hair (died blondes) and one of my neighbours passed by and got mad at me.
