"Needing to be ordered in advance from some mail-order company in Inverness" is subsumed under "not easy to find in the US", at least in my idiolect. There is leftover haggis to be eaten on Burns Night, so I'll pass the link on to the teuchter in case he wants to incorporate them into his celebration.
