Martini time!

Alright at last! Stepbrother's impending presence confirmed by phone, $4 martini night at the Blue Line Club Car is a go for this Wednesday!

This is an open invitation to all Chicago-area folks (and anyone else passing through the area this week). I'll probably show up around 6 p.m. According to stepsister, the food is quite good; I have my reservations about her authority, but the owner also owns the local Salt and Pepper hipster diners, so it can't be that bad and the prices seem quite reasonable. Consequently, I plan to dine there. How long I linger will depend entirely on unknowns such as my mental state, the crowd what appears, and so forth, but I expect I'll be around until 9ish.

(For you Chicagoans who remember Wicker Park before it was Boho Heaven, the Blue Line Club Car is right where the late lamented Busy Bee used to be, i.e. right under the Damen stop on the O'Hare Line.)
