Toronto Day 0.5
I've got a few moments while the Old Man drags a rag across his face. It is much warmer here than either of us expected. I brought shorts on the off chance I might get a chance to wear them and changed into them immediately; poor
monshu has nothing but his black jeans. The b&B is, well, a bit more "rustic" than it looked online. "It's the kind of place my sister would stay," was the GWO's assessment. We're basically staying in the attic, which has a glass front facing west so it's a greenhouse right now. Fortunately it was a little cooler in the garden off the kitchen where we had our pre-dinner drinks.
The plan is to take the Queen St streetcar out west for feijoada. Tomorrow we may do Kensington Market or hit a beer bust in the Gay Village or both. Right now, the possibilities are limitless!
ETA: Mission: Feijoada was a resounding success, although not without some bumps on the road. And it sounds like we're on for Kensington Market--good Lord willin' and the rain don't come.
