Notes: I'm slightly taken aback by the degree of uniformity among the European languages. It's an old enough device that I rather expected at least one or two languages would go their own way. (Gwresfesurydd is given as a synonym in the Welsh dictionary, but this strikes me as exactly the kind of neologism that never sees colloquial use.)
