We join our discussion of wacky Coptic given names (e.g. Noub, Pambo, Pishoy, etc.) already in progress--

monshu: There's also 'Shenouda'.
muckefuck: Isn't that the name of the current Pope?
monshu: I don't know. You know I met him.
muckefuck: Pope Shenouda?
monshu: I'm not sure. This was a while ago now.
muckefuck: Well, it's been the same one for decades.
monshu: I fixed lunch for him when he was in Chicago. I told you this, didn't I?
muckefuck: You so did not!

For the record, "I served my quiche to a Pope" is the kind of tidbit that sticks in my head. No, really.
