So Palestinian militants dig a tunnel for the express purpose of blowing up another Israeli army post, like they did last Sunday. The tunnel collapses and traps several sappers. Then the PA asks for permission to enter a restricted military area in order to rescue them. And Israel grants it?

Let the Israelis rescue the militants, send the bill for the operation to Hamas and the rescuees to prison to await trial.
