GRRR!!!

I wish I knew why I was in such a goddamn pissy mood today. It looks like a classic case of "getting up on the wrong side of the bed". I don't feel like I got too little sleep, just that it ended at the wrong time, like I was in the middle of some kind of cycle when my alarm went off and if it'd just been allowed to come to a natural conclusion, I'd be fine. Instead, I didn't feel like reading on the train and my staff were annoying me so much (by doing entirely unreasonable things like, y'know, asking me work-related questions that I know the answers to) that I fled to the stacks before I got snippy with anyone.

Tonight, I have plans to visit Powell's Bookstore downtown, then the Christkindlmarkt, but I'm toying with the idea of blowing that all off to go home and be Mr Sulky O'Sulk. What I really feel like doing is ripping some idiot a new asshole. It's times like this that I actually miss Usenet flamewars.
