I had some difficulty finding those equivalents, so don't read too much into them. 疑心 exists in both Korean and Japanese, too, the usage simply differs slightly. I couldn't find examples of it being used with 確認する (which may not be the best equivalent of "confirm" anyway), but it did collocate with many other of the same verbs as 疑念.
