It's most definitely worth a visit. Not much has survived beyond the boathouse, just a few outbuildings. In addition to the present ranger station, there's a pump house up the hill, a Japanese-style pavilion, and a couple more smaller outbuildings. Potawatomi Lighthouse is nothing special--if you've seen one restored 19th century farmhouse, then you've already seen it. But you'll get some magnificent photos on the ferry ride both coming and going. We saw some late-season swans in the harbour on the way out.
