Crush of the Now: At our neighbour's shindig, there was a great big bear from Wisconsin who is a TRUCK DRIVER with a DEGREE IN GERMAN. Sex Gods, what the hell is your game here?

There invite was totally last minute, as was our decision to go, but it was totally worth it. monshu could leave whenever he wanted, as could I, and there was no cab fare or endless CTA ride involved. Also, for the first time ever, I got to kiss a bunch of hot guys at midnight and eat gooey butter. (One of the neighbours is a fellow St. Louisan. CARDS IN '09!)
